Smart Social Inclusion

forums

This working group focuses on the overall topic of better spending for better social outcomes. Since one of the Social Affairs Forum's priority is social cohesion in an age of austerity, the working group explores smarter investments and innovative solutions to respond to reduced public spending and higher demand for social services.

In 2015, the working group will focus on:

  • ways to finance social inclusion

  • exploring smarter resources and investments to complement and support initiatives in cities

  • exploring ways to promote social inclusion and employment through social innovation

  • providing input for EU policy on social innovation
