On Monday, 21 September 2020, Berlin's Senate Department for Integration, Labour and Social Services is organising the European conference "Platform Economy - Decent Work in Times of Digital Transformation".
The online conference focuses on how decent work can be achieved for people working in the platform economy. Particular emphasis will be placed on platforms in the services sector where click and gig workers operate, e.g. as micro-jobbers, courier drivers and cleaners. During the digital conference, we will discuss, among other things, the motivation and challenges of platform workers, how platform-mediated work is to be evaluated in a European and international context and how the platform economy is changing our cities. You will have the opportunity to actively participate via polls and a live chat.
